Transmar is dedicated to providing our customers with the best quality and guaranteed on time delivery of goods. Our staff has extensive experience in the cocoa business and is committed to making the cocoa supply chain as efficient as possible for our customers. We strive to improve our ability to serve our customers and help them to meet each challenge the cocoa sector presents. In an effort to better service our customers needs, Transmar constructed two melting facilities in the USA. Both facilities are operated with strict quality control and sensory assurance. They were constructed in logistical proximity to our customers in order to ensure our adherence to delivery schedules.
Cocoa Services Inc., located outside Philadelphia, was incorporated as a Transmar affiliate in partnership with Lyons & Sons Warehouse. CSI serves as a cocoa butter and cocoa liquor melting and tolling station. The facility melts origin butter and liquor for liquid deliveries and has a throughput capacity of 50,000 m/t of butter and 20,000m/t of liquor per annum.
Cocoa Services West, located outside San Francisco, was created as a Transmar owned operation that melts cocoa butter for our west coast customers. The facility has a throughput capacity of 12,000m/t per year.
